Eligibility for the Trainee Pilot Programme

License Requirement – A320 Fleet

  • CPL holders with Multi Engine and Instrument Rating with A320 Endorsement

License Requirement – B737 Fleet

  • CPL holders with Multi Engine and Instrument Rating with B737 Endorsement
  • CPL holders with Multi Engine and Instrument Rating
  • CPL holders with B737 Endorsement and Instrument Rating only *

*On successful completion of the selection process, provisional LOI will be issued to complete Multi Engine Rating.

Candidates holding CPL challan from DGCA are also eligible to apply.

Additional Requirements

  • Indian Nationals or Overseas Citizens of India
  • Maximum Age: 30 years (40 for Employees & Ex-Defence)
  • 10+2 with Physics & Maths from a recognised Board/University

  • Current Class-I Medical Fitness Assessment issued by DGCA, India
  • Current CPL/ATPL issued by DGCA, India
  • Current FTRO issued by DGCA, India
  • Current Instrument Rating on type rated Aircraft endorsed on Indian CPL/ATPL
  • Valid ELP endorsed on Indian CPL/ATPL
  • Current RTR (A) or RTP (P) or RTR (C) issued by WPC, Ministry of Communications, India
  • Mandatory eGCA-ID with all licenses and documents validated

FAQs

Yes, a candidate must have completed Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level from a recognised board.  A certificate for Physics and/or mathematics from NIOS is also valid.

You are eligible to apply basis the eligibility criteria published.  Also, on the date of issuance of LoI/Offer (as the case may be), you must be in possession of a  valid CPL, along with other requisite documents.

You will be eligible to apply. However, you will be eligible to join once you obtain the Multi Engine Rating.

You must be a citizen of India or an OCI (Overseas Citizenship of India) cardholder, with no restriction to enter any country/region.

You must be in possession of a valid Indian CPL or a valid challan copy of DGCA CPL, along with Indian RTR/Class-I/FRTOL.

Candidates must wait for a minimum period of 180 days to reapply or participate in subsequent evaluations.
